Lulus Kastri

Lulu est une hôte chaleureuse et accueillante qui a été attentive a ce que notre séjour d'une semaine se passe à merveille. Elle a décoré l'appartement qu'elle loue, au dessus de sien, avec beaucoup de goût. Les chambres, le salon, tout a été pensé avec un œil pour les détails. Nous avons aimé passer du temps sur le grand balcon avec vue sur la mer toute proche même si la saison n'était pas encore celle de la baignade. Les attentions de Lulu (des citrons de son jardin, du vin de son voisin, le raki, indispensable!) ont été très apprécié. Même Wilbur, son chien, nous a manqué après notre départ! De plus, il était facile de se parquer a proximité du logement et, malgré la basse saison, plusieurs restaurants et une boulangerie étaient atteignables à pied ou à une courte distance en voiture. Bref, nous recommandons vivement cet ébergement et remercions Lulu pour sa gentillesse.

היה חסר מזגן בחדר אחד, התמודדנו עם המאוורר שהיה בחדר והגברנו את המזגן בסלון. בנוסף, זרם המים באמבטיה היה מאוד חלש. אבל המקלחת ביחידת ההורים הייתה מצוינת וסיפקה את כולנו.

Lulu’s apartment is absolutely wonderful. Located in a 1950s building, it has been lovingly restored and decorated. It’s truly charming and comfortable, featuring beautiful watercolours, textiles, stone floors, a tasteful selection of vintage furniture, and plenty of (mostly art) books. Each room opens onto a large balcony—perfect for a romantic dinner or a glass of wine—and there’s a gorgeous sea view. The apartment has a unique character, unlike many anonymous rentals filled with IKEA furniture and off-the-shelf prints. The sea is so close that for a morning swim, I simply put on my trunks at the apartment, slipped down to the Libyan Sea, and showered when I got back—fantastic! We felt genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Lulu was incredibly helpful, especially when my son came down with a cold. Our daughter said the oranges from the garden, kindly offered by our host, tasted like a dream. Lulu is an amazing host who makes you feel welcomed and secure while remaining unobtrusive. The location is excellent—there’s a shop just around the corner and a bakery nearby. The kitchen is well equipped with a variety of coffee-making equipment among other necessities. The village is absolutely worth visiting for a longer stay. In short, this is undoubtedly the best rental apartment and host I have ever encountered.

Highly recommended! We (three couples) had a wonderful time, it was a perfect place for us. Comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated, balcony in three directions, with sea view. Well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine. Lulu was a wonderful host, very kind and generous. Kastri is a calm, small village with some tavernas and cafes, and a nice beach.

Such a wonderful, charming place! Extremely spacious apartment, perfect kitchen, large bedrooms and bathrooms and very lovingly decorated. The front balcony offers a nice view of the Libyan sea, great to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks.We loved going for an early morning swim on the beach just 50 meters down the road.The village still has a very authentic relaxed vibe with nice tavernas, cafés, a bakery and a supermarket, all within walking distance. A perfect spot for a very relaxed holiday away from the crowds! A special thank you to our lovely host Lulu who made our stay a very pleasant one. We would definitely like to return!

Thanks to our host Lulut for the wonderful time here in Kastri. We really liked the charming and lovingly furnished flat: perfect kitchen, great balcony with a view of the Libyan Sea and great original terazzo flooring. All tavernas, the beaches and the supermarket are within walking distance. We would definitely like to come back.

The apartment is big, light and spacious and situated on the second floor, and has balconies on three sides with great views over both the sea and the mountains, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or dinner. The apartment is beautifully decorated with original terrazzo flooring, and nice little details everywhere. The kitchen is very well-equipped, as are the two bathrooms. You can walk to the sea in just a few minutes, as well as to most restaurants of the village, and the two main shops. The apartment is located just off the main road through the village, which offers a serene place to withdraw to after a day full of activities.
