San Nicolas Private Beach

I loved the location, situated on a stunningly beautiful beach. No cockerels, noisy dogs or music from neighbouring hotels. Pure bliss.

Nothing.

Könnte man mehr Sterne vergeben, würde ich es tun! Ich habe noch niemals (und ich bin schon viel gereist), einen schöneren Ort gesehen. Der Service war aufmerksam, aber dezent. Die Anlage sehr sauber und man hatte komplette Ruhe. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen!

Le paradis sur terre... Un endroit privé sans touriste, très peu de chambres et une plage de sable blanc. Les chambres sont de belles villas sur la plage, luxe, confort, décoration magnifique et des standards européens. La cuisine est faite par la propriétaire des lieux, variées et délicieuses. Javier, le propriétaire, fera tout pour que vous passiez le meilleur des séjours. La plage est idyllique et quasi sans marée. Le personnel est gentil et serviable. Mais quoique l'on puisse écrire, la réalité dépassera vos espérances.

Where to start? The location is amazing. It is increasingly difficult to find truly unspoiled, undeveloped areas within the beautiful beaches of southeast Asia, but this is one. The staff, starting with Javier Sr. and Javier Jr., are warm, welcoming, and friendly. Units are limited (to seven, while we were there) so you are truly their guest starting when you arrive. And the lunches and dinners are absolutely outstanding. Meals are apparently based on family recipes and the chef is so creative at presenting different, luxurious meals day after day. Included activities include stand-up paddling, kayaking, and snorkeling. But relaxing on the beach in a lounge chair or hammock is also a very attractive option. Massages and other tours are also available, including trying to see a dugong. The property faces west which means there are sunsets almost every night.

There is nothing that we did not like. If you are happiest when enjoying the natural beauty of a location away from the crowds, you will not do better than San Nicolas. One request/recommendation/piece of advice: while San Nicolas and its grounds are spotless, if you walk to the ends of the beach, you find debris washed up on shore (as you do in any beach in southeast Asia, where I have lived for 10 years). This is not the hotel's trash, it's from the ocean. But if you picked up just a bag or two each day it would make the entire area even more pristine and beautiful.

Foods are excellent. Staffs are very kind and helpful. Quiet and relaxing. Garden is beautiful. I borrowed the kayak and went to the snorkeling. This is very nice snorkeling spot.

ロケーションが最高でした。ビーチから目の前にブラックアイランド見え、干潮の時には島が水面に反射します。何もないけど、全てあるそんな宿泊施設です。オーナーがスペイン人らしく、料理も地中海料理でスペインのワインも品揃えが豊富。スタッフも距離を置きながらも色々気遣いをしてくれます。
