"Great place to stay in Brighton!"

8.0

This is a lovely little house with unique charm. Me and my son stayed here for 4 days and loved the time we spent in the property. The property is modern, clean and unique, on 4 floors. Kitchen has everything you need, bathroom was spotless, lovely shower with hot water whenever needed. The host was very helpful and kept in touch with advice on the area and places to visit. The property is situated in a great location in Brighton and you can walk to Hove also. The beach is around the corner. Overall, a great property which we enjoyed very much.

"Well Located Property With Excellent Host"

9.0

The best thing about this house was Peter the host who was a star! Pete was very communicative via Whattsapp before we arrived and was there to meet us when we arrived and even carried our heavy suitcase upstairs. Pete went out of his way to help, allowing us to drop off our bags before check-in so that we could grab lunch without having to drag our luggage behind, and this was much appreciated. Pete also suggested plenty of local places to visit and seemed to be available if we had any questions. The house was cute and comfortable, and keeps you fit going up and down three flights of stairs! The kitchen was well-equipped, as was, in fact, the whole house. My wife is a light sleeper and was awoken late on Saturday night by noisy passing revellers. This wasn't the fault of the property, of course, and seems to be fairly typical of all the places that we have stayed in at Brighton. I only mention this because Booking.com asked if our room was as quiet as we had hoped. All in all, this was a well located property within easy access to both the sea front, shops and pubs and we would stay here again.

The only negative thing we can say is that the bathroom could have been a little cleaner upon arrival. Nothing bad, but water marks on the shower screen, shower rail and taps. If these had been buffed up and cleaned so that they were gleaming we would have given this place a 10 out of 10.

The house was charming, clean, cosy very comfortable, full of interesting art and books arranged over 4 floors full mobility is required! House felt very welcoming. The owner has thought of everything and there are lots of thoughtful touches.. Great location near to many pubs restaurants the seafront and town.

Be aware of the 4 flights of narrow stairs which may prove difficult for some.

"Perfect location, quaint little house"

Superb location for exploring Brighton on foot

The open stairs wouldn't be great for small children or frail older people

Fireplace, proximity to shops and beach, cozy. Host attentiveness and recommendations.

Loud pigeons in the morning :-). It's clear they have tried to keep the pigeons away, but the birds found a way.

Great location between hove & Brighton to explore both areas. Very close to the seafront! Parking close by but not directly outside the property. However to unload and load the car for the stay the street is quiet enough to park on the corner for 5 minuets. Very cosy house and the beds are very comfy! Lovely shower! Lovely pigeons that visit the little garden! Hosts are very communicative and offer alot of help/recommendations.

The neighbours were quite loud so not ideal if wanting to relax in the living room but I am quite noise sensitive! There’s also a tv in the bedroom on the top floor though and it’s quieter in there. The first night I really struggled to sleep due to outside noise and seagulls in the early hours even with earplugs but the second night was much quieter. This isn’t really something the hosts can control it was just the area! Not really a dislike but people may want to know that the stairs in the house are quite narrow so if you have a dog or struggle walking it may be a little steep and unsteady.
