MDC Cave Hotel Cappadocia

Our second stay at MDC with the family. Excellent property, such a wonderful vibe and a great cave experience at the price.

Not much to not like… not very child friendly if you have very young children. But if you just keep an eye on them you’ll be fine.

Tout était parfait !

The location, the views, the cave rooms. Our porter was cheerful and helpful. The interior of the rooms was beautiful.

We were contacted by Asaf at the hotel via whatsapp prior to leaving Australia asking if we wanted to book any tours. I decided to book the hot air balloon for our group of 3. Upon arrival, there were thunderstorms forecast for the next morning, which is our scheduled day. I asked to change it as we didn't want to be wet and cold. Asaf demanded that we pay a cancellation fee of 45 Euro, which I refused, as that was not what was explained to me. I insisted that our booking be moved a couple of days which he later agreed. My advice for future travellers is to book your tours through a TripAdvisor or similar closer to your arrival when you have visibility of the weather. It's cheaper, too (we paid 150 Euro each). The 2 days that we stayed here, it was raining constantly. The ceiling in our room leaked and crumbled ( it's a cave) and our belongings got wet during the night.

Отдыхали в мае, было 2 номера. Были свободные номера и нам повысили категорию номера, за что огромное спасибо. Номер с хамамом и джакузи просто сказка. Очень большие комнаты, камин, кондиционер, не пришлось использовать. Было очень тепло и комфортно, освещение лучшее, много ламп над столом, кроватями, диваном, у зеркала, и в ванной много ламп и все включается отдельно. Хороший матрас и много подушек. 8 бутылок с водой, кофе чай несколько видов. На терассе большой диван, стол со стульями качели, вечером красиво вокруг. Завтрак супер. Шведский стол. Свежеприготовленный омлет и гезлеме с начинками на выбор. Натуральный кофе. Были на машине, но до центра и всех ресторанов ходили пешком 10-15 мин.

Восторг, в следующий раз остановимся в этом отеле.
