I liked the bed because it was nice and firm. The shower was great too, even though it was only cold.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t a private villa just for me as advertised. There were ants everywhere. But it was okay — I’m not very sensitive.

I had great time in this place and felt like home. It's a traditional villa, clean and tidy, where I enjoyed serene and very comfortable night sleep. Isuru and Lalani were very helpful and kind people. I will be definitely back to meet this family again!

We had a lovely stay here at Freedom Riverhouse Villa! It's located close to Ahangama, and you can easily get breakfast at local shops. We got to Cook with our host, and she was very kind and would bring us snacks every morning!

A beautiful homestay with a lovely host. I was mostly with the mother of the house and she was the kindest and most helpful lady- she was always there to assist and we had lots of communication through Google translate to get our points across. As with all home stays across Sri lanka- you aren't there for a luxury stay but rather an authentic feel for the local area and communities. Super close to the beach and restaurants and main road for bus stops to other beach towns is 5 mins away. I really recommended!!

My Favorit place on Sri lanka. The Hosts were very friendly and helpful. If you want to experience real Sri lanken traditional hospitality and living this place is for you. I would love to come back one Day. I felt very welcoming and at peace in your house.

This is a really nice place to stay if you enjoy authentic Sri Lankan life. Lalani has such a kind heart and she treated me like her own daughter. She and her son Isuru do their best to create an environment where you feel at home, welcome and safe. I enjoyed spending time in the beautiful garden doing my daily yoga. Lalani is a really good cook and she treated me with delicious food, drinks and sweets. If you have any needs they will do their best to help you. So if you are interested in Sri Lankan culture, I highly recommend a visit here.
