"We has a lovely time exploring Ludlow and will try to rebook Corve Cottage when we next visit."

10.0

Lovely old house with lots of history and easy walking distance to the railway station and town centre. The courtyard garden at the back was a bonus with the nice weather we had.

"Beautiful Elizabethan cottage"

10.0

Beautiful old cottage, sensitivity updated. Very well equipped kitchen.

The bath towels were much too small. It's an unnecessary (and, I'm sure, just not thought through) meanness.

Loved the property, garden and quiet location. Parking permit was a bonus. Great to have a pint of milk in the fridge! Equipped with all the essentials needed. Quick response from owners.

Needing to lock the back door to sit in the garden whilst keeping the house secure but only a minor inconvenience in our view.

"Very relaxing. Ideal location for exploring Ludlow and around."

Very characterful cottage. Comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location for Ludlow.

The main road nearby was a little noisy from the garden.

"Peaceful, charming, historic, plenty to do."

10.0

This place was a charming 16th century cottage that exceeded our expectations in terms of space and equipment for things like cooking etc. A well-equipped book shelf and a sweet little garden round the back offered a chance to relax and read to the backdrop of birdsong. The location was a quiet street with easy access to the main part of the town, and Ludlow has plenty of charms to offer such as a tonne of historical buildings, a beautiful river and lots of good places to eat. We had a wonderful long weekend there, and our hosts gave us advice as to places to eat. Check out Csons - excellent food (we had breakfast) and friendly, with a great location by the river. We even had a chance to join in the annual rubber duck race! Also, the Clive Arms just outside Ludlow was very nice too. My partner also particularly appreciated the brewery at one end of the road, especially as they had not one but five gluten free beers to try. There are loads of castles nearby that are well worth the visit too - we went to Croft Castle, Stokesay (my favourite) and Ludlow itself. But there's still a lot to explore and I missed out on the famous Csons cinnamon bun as they'd sold out on the duck day, so we'll have to come back for that if nothing else!

Nothing that I wouldn't feel wholly churlish mentioning. It had more bedrooms and toilets than we were expecting, that's for sure!
