Solid hotel, but not true five-star standard We booked this hotel in advance and had certain expectations given its rating. Unfortunately, these were only partially met. Communication before arrival was disappointing. Shortly after booking, I contacted the hotel several times regarding a small adjustment due to my husband’s arrival time. However, I received no response at all. Only through the booking platform was the matter eventually clarified by phone. A written reply from the hotel came weeks later, on the day of arrival. This is not the level of service one would expect from a five-star hotel. The room was acceptable, but not at the level expected for a five-star property. Overall, the hotel felt quite busy and at times rather noisy. The food was decent, but nothing particularly remarkable. Overall, a satisfactory stay, but with clear shortcomings in service and overall quality. In our view, closer to four stars than five.

Nice pool, beach and playground

The housekeeping staff were all friendly and full of smiles. Most of the staff at reception and at Laguna Cafe were not very friendly and seemed to be in a hurry even when there weren’t other guests in the area.

Vormittags sonnig am Pool und nachmittags sonnig am Strand. Pool und Strand waren sauber. Es hat ausreichend Liegen am Pool. Es wird an Badetücher nicht gespart. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Leider kein all-inclusive möglich. So müssen Mittag- und Abendessen, wie auch Zwischenverpflegungen bzw. Getränke, separat bezahlt werden. Der Pool ist nicht klein, jedoch wäre eine zweiter oder noch grösserer Pool ein Pluspunkt wert. Saunas habe ich keine gesehen. Wäre das i-Tüpfelchen gewesen.
