Clean property with all facilities available.

Limited flexibility of ordering food. We were asked to order food (for example Lunch/Dinner) about 3-4 hours in advance. Also we were in a family where different people wanted to eat different dishes however we were asked to order common dishes that everyone would eat. This forced us to eat out at restaurants which were about 4 kms away at the city center. While I understand the owners POV, I just felt that we did not have the flexibility in terms of food. Perhaps the owner could just get a tie up with a local restaurant to provide food rather than having your caretakers cook it on demand.

A staff member was on the property and available 24/7. We were given the choice of having all meals cooked and served to us or getting our own meals. We opted to stay on the property and have most of our meals prepared for us except for occasionally wondering out - to sight see (Parsi point, Table land, Arthur Seat etc), shop (the Cheese Factory) and eat out (Mapro Garden). What a wonderful experience this stay was. We got to sample fantastic home cooked food, fresh strawberries, and are grateful to all involved in making us so comfortable. The cottage in this rural setting was exactly what we wanted to experience after our stay in Mumbai. Staff are friendly, kind, trustworthy and exceptionally good at their jobs. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them. Looking forward to staying here again in the future. Note, there is another holiday home and a small farm house on the same property, but the property is large and the other cottages were not close enough to create any privacy issues. Other guests/residents were courteous, well behaved and we didn't mind not being the only ones there. As you can see, there is space for a crowd and then some. We were encouraged to make as little or as much noise as we liked. We heard that this place allows pets, but some visiting pets may need to have a leash as there were two dogs permanently on the property at the time of our visit.

Nothing. If I was to mention one thing though, English was understood by staff but replied in basic English or head nods - this was such a minor thing and did not impact the wonderful experience we had. I quickly learned some local words myself. If you have any dietary needs or other requirements, put these down in your booking instructions as the communication from the property owner was excellent.

The room, quiet place, food, Caretaker friendly nature.

The place is serene and beautiful simply awesome. The villa is huge and big with beautiful furniture with a touch of vintage. This trip really left us with tons of memories. The care taker Madan Patil is an exceptional person with a touch of warmness and highly knowledgeable. He guided us and taken care of everything. The food is scrumptious and homely. The campfire is memorable and beautiful. Thank you Junglee Nest family for everything. The adjacent Strawberry form is exceptional and amazing. We all plucked strawberries which is a great experience.

The property is raw but it has homely vibes.We can move from one place to another, even kids can run around and inside premises. Kitchen is an added advantage where we can cook if we want which gives the homely character to this place. Area around the property is mostly open to sky and raw, kept for strawberry plantation.a large verandah or a deck in front of the house is added advantage.on top of it, caretaker is a friendly person,energetic,presentable, entertaining and takes good care of everybody. Food is equally good!

We went during monsoon, so the entire property including windows was wrapped with plastic to save it from moisture n other things.but it really didn't matter as the weather was colder in monsoon.

Way of welcome was excellent,food too delicious and the service given to us was really nice.

It was a family trip in monsoon so we were looking for a place where we could relax, spend some quality time together and it was an exact match for this requirement. The place is close to natural scenery. As we visited it during monsoon so we could witness fog. Owners have quite good arrangements over there. They do have room heaters, geezers in each bathroom, humidifier, TV, WiFi, small kitchen where we can make tea, coffee, barbecue deck, place to dry clothes. There is a big kitchen outside where they prepare food and serve you. The staff is very good, well behaved, and punctual. I would always prefer a place like this. Last but not least there is a waterfall nearby this place. Thank you so much Junglee Nest.
