Kurnell Cottage, Staithes

The communication with the hosts was fantastic throughout. The cottage was very well equipped, was very homely and comfortable and very spacious and clean. It is in an excellent location and a great base for Staithes and surrounding areas.

This is a very small thing but the only thing we would suggest would be a 4 slice toaster.

Comfortable and clean, light and airy, well equipped. Walking distance from harbour with parking (which is a bonus in a village which has very little). Good clear communication from owner.

Loved the location of the cottage at the top of the bank in Staithes. Beautiful view out of the back bedroom as the sunsets. Great restaurants and beautiful long walks if that is your thing. The cottage had some great games for families - we didn’t use them but a great touch nonetheless.

We had no hot water for over 24 hours, the shower was very cold and the heating gave out minimal heat meaning the house was cold on a night time. I would still return though.

Beautiful cottage, in an ideal location. Close to shops and bars. Great for walking or relaxing. The cottage was immaculate, and the hosts had given us all the information we needed before arrival. We will definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
