We chose to book this property due to the professional pictures of the beautiful interior decoration. It was a pleasure to discover the care for details and the little things that added to the esthetic surprises! A comfortable double bed, a couch with a coffee table, a table with chairs for the meals... Facilities: the newly fitted kitchen consists of a heated plate (glass ceramic), a microwave oven but not enough cooking pots and no frying pan. The highlight of the place is the large terrace (last floor of a 5 stories high apartment block), allowing a beautiful view of the Pagasetic Gulf! The location was the next reason for choosing the place, as our preferred Italian restaurant (Lola & Luna) is a few minutes walk, and the bar next to the church is even closer. We love the promenade along the waterfront which is 5 minutes away, the fact that the kiosk is 20 seconds on the sidewalk and the supermarket just in front of the door! The pedestrian, commercial downtown is 10 minutes walk away! Parking was always possible in the area. There is quite a choice of beaches one can drive to, along the banks of the gulf so Volos was the vacation destination!

Taking a shower is a difficult challenge! The water flow is extremely low, (rinsing the hair is difficult) although the pressure would be enough. As a result, the automatic water heater cannot trigger in due time so the water is too hot for half a minute, followed by cold as can be for another half a minute. It can be that the problem is fixed already, but if it would have been for a longer stay, we would have had to move out!
