Eolia apartment with panoramic Chania view

The view is amazing and it is well located so you can reach the port and/or the city center within 20 mins max. There are a few options to shop around, the neighborhood is quiet and parking is easy. The property is well equipped and the main bathroom is renovated. Everything g was clean and neat. The communication with the landlord was uncomplicated and I received super fast replies. The landlord also showed willingness to help.

The main entrance if you have a young child might be dangerous since there is no guardrail on the stairs of the building. The mattress was too soft for my taste, but this is a matter of preference so is not necessarily bad. The windows are quite old and could be renovated to ensure better isolation but nothing critical here. Finally, although the checking and checkout time on booking was mentioned to be 12:00 the landlord informed that the check in time is 14:00 and checkout 10:00. Similar to a normal hotel. However, this is not a hotel it is a flat. In any case the landlord did the best to facilitate checkin at 12:00 according to the request, we checked out at 10:00 since we had to leave anyways so no big issue here. I would simply expect what is mentioned on booking to reflect the reality without additional discussion needed. An update on property checkin/out time on booking would be nice to avoid misunderstandings.
