"Very nice location for skiing but very poor for not skiers. Nowhere to walk."

9.0

I didn't like that there is no safe walking path. We had go on the road which spoils the the idea of clean air.

"Great value for money"

Host was very helpful, check in was easy and fast, apartment was clean, location is good but you need a car to get to the city center and slopes.

All good.

"Booked for three nights, ended up leaving after the first night and booking elsewhere down the road."

2.0

Nothing

Extremely run down, broken shower handle and shower tiles. Futon for a bed. Floor was sticky, needed a god clean. Was asked to take the bin out on departure, but there was no bin liners provided, so had to go buy plastic bin bags.

"Perfectly located apartment at the slopes with amazing views"

9.0

- Biggest plus is the location: The apartment is located on the slopes, which makes it easy to ski in and ski out. To ski out there are 2 options: take the lift next to the apartment block and take a black slope down (slope 21 is more like a red slope with one steeper section) that connects to red slope 34. You will end right at the lift. Or take the shorter red slope 16bis down in front of the apartment. The slope ends on the road, take your skis off and walk about 40m to the lift. To ski in, you can ski down from the top (Matterhorn Glacier Paradise) to the apartment without having to take any lift. Which is a bliss if you want to enjoy your ski day to the fullest. Take slope 7, and make sure you take the turn at slope 13, which then connects to slope 16. These red runs are fairly easy, especially if you take the loop at the left at the very end of slope 16 to circumvent the steepest part. You will end in front of the door of the apartment block. This to say it is perfect for intermediate and advanced skiers. Beginners can take the skibus in front of the apartment block. Within the apartment block you do need to take 2 elevators and walk a bit in between (inside the building) to connect to the block next door where the apartment is. But it is not too much of a hassle. The ski lockers are also in the block next door, so we kept our skis on the terrace. Much easier. - Next big plus is the view. Wow. Waking up with a view on the mountains is superb. - The terrace is right in the sun till quite late, perfect for an après-ski drink and bite. - While there is not a lot of luxury, you do have everything you need. We cooked almost every night, and made it work. - Parking. We could park for free in front of the building. You may need to wait a bit to find a spot, but places do become available in the evening when the day skiers leave. The apartment is perfect for a couple with the main focus on skiing, a romantic getaway without much luxury.

- There is only one restaurant nearby. Cervinia town you can reach by bus easily, but to come back you may need to walk as the bus only drives till 8.30pm or so. The walk is about 20 minutes. Doable but good to be aware of if you don’t want to cook and eat out every night. There is also no bakery nearby. - Kitchen: It would have been nice to have an oven in the kitchen. The pans and pots were not the best and not very clean. In general cleanliness could be improved. (Towels and sheets were very clean though!) - Bathroom: The shower did what it had to do, warm water was always available. But it is obviously not the best shower as you can tell from the pictures. There was also some molt in the corners and on the ceiling. I would advise to have the molt professionally removed and install a new shower. This place would immediately be worth much more. :) - It is more a plus than a negative, but as we do like some wellness we booked an hour of wellness at the very nearby 5 star Hotel Valtur Cervinia Cristallo. Highly recommended! Just divine. - Bed and space: we had brought an extra topper mattress and were happy we did. The couch bed is quite hard and not the best. The apartment could benefit from a smaller couch (the current one is not the greatest anyway), so there is more space at the table. With some changes this place could be the best apartment ever. But seen the current pricing, I believe this place is price-quality top! Perfect for a couple, in my opinion.

"Studio apartment for the small family"

9.0

2nd year in a row that I rented this apartment, and I will return. Excellent communication and support from the host. The apartment is located close to the slope and have a few restaurants nearby. The parking is very good. The building and apartment is getting old but everything is functional and it is perfect for a couple or small family.

It is hard setting the temperature for the shower. With the current furniture setting the apartment can seem a bit small, (not enough floor space to unload bag etc). I think it would benifit with a smaller sofa and a bunk bed.

"Excellent on-piste accommodation with great local facilities."

9.0

Great studio accommodation, everything you need for a weeks ski holiday, stunning views of the mountains, clean, warm & cosy, plus loads of storage space too for ski equipment. Genuine ski in/ski out accommodation away from the town centre but with shop, restaurant, bar, ski lessons & ski hire shop all at the entrance to the building. Cracking place to stay.

"Meh, there are better options."

5.0

Location is great, just put on your gear and head out. It's quite a bit away from the city, but there's a pizzeria and a pub on the ground floor of the building. The view is great. Kitchenette is neat.

While the description states "The apartment is composed of 1 separate bedroom, a living room" the reality is far removed from the words. It's a tiny studio apartment. No worries, because according to the owner "If you book a smart car you can’t expect a Mercedes". It's just too bad I've been booking a one bedroom apartment expecting a one bedroom apartment because it was described as a one bedroom apartment and got a studio instead. And there's a whole lot of options between a Smart and a Mercedes (Toyota amirite?). The bed is 140cm wide (that's 4'6" for our overseas friends) which is highly unlikely to be enough for two adults and the "extra sofa bed" is uhm, unfit for sleeping unless you have back surgery planned right after staying here. But hey, technically it's a bed so be happy you have something to sleep on. The shower has a system of delivering hot water that I can only describe as a "lottery". Now I'm not a gambling man but if you want to discover how your skin reacts to water temperature suddenly rising from 30 to 60 degrees Celsius (no idea what's that in Farenheit, but basically from pleasantly cool to AAAAAAARGH IT BURNS) -- this is the place to be. Enjoy the endless roulette of temperature rising and dropping in sync with cryptocoins exchange rates. Last but not least, but the owners should really consider getting a new toilet. It's cheaper than getting a Mercedes but it's a huge quality of life improvement. At least

View was lovely from our room.

Shower in the room was USELESS. At busy periods in the day, using the shower is almost impossible because you have no running water. It must be shared throughout the building
