NE Portland Oregon Modern Victorian Duplex

A very cute property! Full kitchen (-dishwasher), which is wonderful. It’s also very close to a bunch of fun places to visit (if you’re into walking it’s pretty doable to walk to downtown it’s just long).

The couch was the one downside. It turns into a second bed which is great, but doesn’t like to stay in couch from.

Clean, unique art work, good size for 2 adults, historic and charming. Bed was super comfortable.

Nothing to watch. Living room tv just had religious and shopping channels. Netflix or more local news would have been really nice. Couldn’t find any good channels. Bring DVDs because there is a DVD player. This property is very loud on weekends. Close to busy street and a dispensary that got really loud. No fault of the owner’s obviously.

I’m not a massive fan of claw-foot bath tubs, but that’s just a personal preference.

My stay here was absolutely beautiful. I came to Portland for a little writer's retreat and to work on my graduate school applications, and I found the atmosphere delightful. I brought my car, but the location is very close to buses and trolleys, so it is very accessible to get to anywhere you want in the city. The apartment is well stocked with amenities: bathroom, kitchen, travel guides, bedroom sheets and blankets, and many more. There is a fridge, so you can buy groceries to stock for a longer stay. Also, the Thai restaurant next door is a must! I stopped by on a rainy day, and it truly hit the spot. The property manager was also very kind and even checked on how I was doing in the middle of my stay. Truly, a lovely stay, and I hope to be back here soon—hopefully, touring my dream grad school!

Honestly, there isn't much to say negatively. If you're a light sleeper, beware: this is a duplex, so there is a tenant above you, and you will hear footsteps and stomps here and there in the morning, but I wasn't bothered by it.

Everything!! It was ideally located to get to & from the train line that runs out to the airports and also had plenty of on-street parking for when I rented a car. It is a very centrally-located place so getting to wherever I wanted to go was very easy. The house is so cozy and comfortable that you almost don’t wanna ever leave it! It really is an immaculately charming place that I would love to live in if I were to relocate out to Portland. Rocio was a great coordinator of matters too and very helpful in her own right. I really can’t recommend this place any higher. It just makes you feel right at home right away. The deep claw-foot bathtub (& all the provided amenities) truly sealed the deal as it provided some welcome relaxed soaking after getting a bit soaked in a more unwelcome way with all the constant, cold drizzle outside.

Everything was perfect and don’t think I would change a thing. Maybe a flat surface to place soap within reach while lying back soaking in the tub would be a useful touch.
