Beau retreat lovely apartment in Beaumaris

Clean and tidy, proximity to town centre

Parking, we were on motorcycles so managed to find spots close to the flat, not the venues fault just the situation within Beaumaris and it was made clear in advance no parking. If you were in a car you would probably need to park your vehicle down near the harbour.

Great location, close to all Beaumaris has to offer but in a quiet area. The apartment itself was cosy and spacious for the two of us. I think 4 adults might struggle a bit for space, but couples or a family would be fine. It was lovely and bright and great to have somewhere comfy to sit in the evening. It was nice to be able to eat in, with the kitchen facilities perfectly adequate. The bed was comfy and it was great to have plenty of storage in the bedroom. The host was easy to communicate with and very prompt.

In places it was a little bit tired and shabby, with some drawers that wouldn't open. The bathroom was ok, it just needed sprucing up a bit. We've been to Beaumaris several times and have experienced a wide range of accommodation. With that in mind, it lacked the personal touch that top accommodations have.....a bottle of water or wine, welsh cakes, whatever... something to add a welcoming touch, would be a lovely bonus. This isn't a criticism...just a thought to consider.

Good location; well equipped apart from no salt and pepper, which I would expect. Streaming services were good and lounge was comfortable for 2 people. All normal facilities in the kitchen etc available.

Some parts are a little tired. The shower didn't shut properly, the headboard was falling off on one side, the drawers didn't function correctly in one room. My friend did not find the bed particularly comfortable (smaller room), but mine was fine. The rooms were very bright in the morning as there were no blackouts on the curtains. The noise from other apartments was quite noisy; it was possible to hear the person above snoring at night and it wasn't possible to sleep with windows open due to adjacent fence panels banging all night. The banging door downstairs shook the upstairs quite significantly when it was slammed shut, which was often. Parking was tricky, but it was school holidays.

The property was clean, light, airy, comfortable and well equipped with lovely views. It is a great location for exploring Beaumaris and easy to access the rest of the island.

Lovely and quiet apartment in a fabulous location. Everything was in walking distance, and it's amazing what you can fit in to do in a 2 night stay. A place I'd visit again and would recommend.

The TV was a problem to set up. Contacted the owner and got useful tips. I'd suggest a note in the 'Welcome Pack' regarding how to set it up.

The location for getting round Anglesey was good. All the attractions and hospitality venues we visited were within walking distance.

Lack of communication from the host. We waited a long time for answers to questions we had posed to the host and sometimes did not even get an answer. Lack of washing up products. Strong smell of bleach when opening fridge, which in my opinion is a harmful product to use to clean a fridge. The toaster was so old and filthy that we could not use it. The instructions were not clear for accessing the Biffa bins.

Great apartment and very clean - had everything we needed. In a quiet location but very close to the center of town. No problem with the parking. Beaumaris is a beautiful small town and if your are looking for a relaxing vacation then this is the place for you.

Excellent location and very central. Comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen.

Get rid of the rusty flower baskets on the railing on the balcony.
