Comfortable clean beds.

Main bathroom toilet weak flush and very slow to refill the tank

The decor was at a low standard and bedding was not adequate in large bedroom. The television did not work and the front door handle fell off.

It was clean and comfortable. Furnishings to a good standard. It was suitable for our short stay.

The TV did not fully work, but was not a major issue. There was no hot water, but used a kettle for washig up and it had an electric shower.

I booked this property mainly because it was very close to our conference venue, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, my overall experience with the place was quite disappointing.

From the start, communication with the host was poor. I sent a message on the day of arrival to inform them I was running late and to ask for instructions about key collection. I didn’t receive any response, and after arriving at the property, I had to wait nearly an hour as the host wasn’t answering my calls either. The condition of the property also left a lot to be desired. The diffusers in the rooms were extremely strong and overpowering, which made the space uncomfortable. The bedding in one of the bedrooms was very dark, which made it hard to tell if it was clean, and in the second bedroom, the pillows were visibly stained — definitely not reassuring. The stove hob was quite dirty, with grease buildup that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was no ironing board available, which made things inconvenient, especially for a business trip. The outdoor washing line was unstable — I hung up my laundry to dry, and when I came back, it had fallen to the ground.
