Strelitzia Apartment, by Bolhão Residences

The staff, especially Teresa, are super helpful and a delight to be in contact with.

The apartment was very well appointed, spotlessly clean and very well located. Dishwasher tablets and laundry pods were provided, and we were welcomed with a gift of port and cake. Shopping bags and an umbrella (which was very useful) were also thoughtfully provided. The apartment is 2 minutes walk from Bolhau Market and metro station, supermarket and great restaurants. It is a 10 minute brisk walk to the Ponte Luis 1 bridge and riverside. The hosts, Carla and Teresa were very friendly and helpful, especially Teresa who spent a lot of time trying to identify the noise from the next door building which disturbed us at night, and then resolving the problem. We requested clean towels halfway through our stay and these were happily provided. A full information book is in the apartment, full of local information and restaurant recommendations, and a couple of Porto maps are provided.

The apartment is very close to a food court restaurant and there is some noise from the delivery drivers waiting for orders all day and evening. However the food court closes at 11pm and so all is quiet shortly after. We were in the ground floor apartment and the entrance to the building and lift were just outside our door. We could clearly hear the guests in the other 5 or 6 apartments coming and going. If we stayed again, which we will if we return to Porto, we will stay in an apartment on an upper floor.

The host is so considerate and always happy to help us to solve any problems, which really decreased our nervousness. She sent some vedios to me in advance, which including the way to get there, how to open the door by door code, and any informations about sorrounding you might interesting in. Also the location is in the center but quite, we could take a good rest at night. Actually we even don't wanna leave on the check out day😂 Thanks a lot for making us like home again, Teresa Távora🥰(also thanks for the lovely cake on our check in day❤️)this place is so comfortable that I'll highly recommend anyone who visit Porto to stay here! And sincerely hope everyone stay here will value this place.

The hostesses sent a video of how to open the gate/door, as well as a manual of things to do. They were attentive and friendly. The location was so close to everything. The apartment was well designed and highly efficient. I highly recommend this place. Loved the sweet treats and Porto wine to welcome us! A definite 10 rating across all categories.
