DEDas war wirklich hervorragend! Blitzsauber, schönes funktionelles Badezimmer mit heißem Wasser, ansprechendes Zimmer mit neuwertiger Einrichtung. Eigentümerin deutschsprachig, Hausdame spricht englisch, beide super freundlich und bemüht. Familiäre Atmosphäre, ohne Aufdringlichkeit, wenige Zimmer, gut nutzbarer Wohnzimmer-Raum. Ayurveda-Anwendungen professionell. Essen abwechslungsreich, lecker!
Da gab es nichts zu kritisieren.
CHQuiet location, breakfast was good. We stayed one night, and the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet.
The toilet is outside of the room, just opposite where the bedroom is but there is a common area just outside as well. The room itself was very small with walls around that made it feel a little like a prison cell. For one night it’s definitely ok but I wouldn’t want to stay longer.

GBSecluded, quiet, relaxed and only 15mins walk to the town. Excellent fresh cooked meal first night and superb restaurant only 100 metres away. The Secret Harbour. Great also to have a full massage on the premises. Good value at $47 Good to visit Geoffrey Bawa estate the to Bevis Bawa garden. Fascinating. Go and have a coffee at Cinnamon hotel too.
Mosquitos! Close to the river.
FIIt is a house including two guest rooms, a kitchen with dining table, a lounge and a small therapy massage room. Our room and modern bathroom were clean. The AC and mosquito net worked well. The breakfast was basic Sri Lankan with no fruits. The dinner was brought us from elsewhere, typical Sri Lankan curry and rice.
The general information is partly misleading, telling that there is ”spa and wellness center”, ”sauna” and ”restaurant”. There is no spa, no water pool, no sauna, no restaurant. The male servant was friendly but he spoke hardly any English. He was hanging around all the time. At night we saw him sleeping on the mattress on kitchen floor and we had to go trough this kitchen area to enter the bathroom. Thus there was no privacy for us. The towels looked old and worn.
GBThe place is a lovely, quiet two bedroom place, with private parking. The host is really lovely, and attentive, always there to help us. The bathroom is spacious (we stayed in the larger room), it is just outside the room. The mosquito net is great as it’s a four poster bed, and drapes without any faff.
Its location is a little far from things to do - however we had our own tuk tuk so was fine for us, but something to keep in mind.
ESEra una habitación muy limpia, con una cómoda cama, aire acondicionado y ventilador. Tenia el baño separado pero de uso privado. Además, teníamos una cocina compartida. El chico que nos recibió fue muy simpático y estuvo pendiente de que no nos faltara de nada. Pudimos poner la lavadora pagando algo más. El jardín y la casa en general, estaban muy cuidados.
