Teveel vliegtuigen gezien. De avond vloog snel voorbij, dat was wel Bali. Het een zal wel met elkaar te maken hebben,denken we zo.

An extraordinary place – I highly recommend it! We came from Germany and stayed one night with our two small children. The location is superb, romantic, and full of charm. In the evening, fairy lights would turn on, creating a magical atmosphere. We made a fire outside and enjoyed a hot bath together with the kids. There was a large pool and a big trampoline that the children absolutely loved. Our car was parked safely in the courtyard. We were warmly welcomed, with balloons and a beautiful decoration for my little daughter’s 2nd birthday. We specifically wanted to celebrate her special day here, and we will definitely come back! The planes flying nearby did not bother us at all – on the contrary, the kids were thrilled to see them so close. At night it was quiet, as the house is well insulated and beautifully designed. The location is close to the sea and many lovely restaurants with playgrounds for children. The only thing I would improve is adding a door to the bathroom, but other than that, this place is truly like something out of a fairytale.

Good location near both Amsterdam as well as the coast, with free/easy parking. A bit more room and peace, privacy than in a hotel room. A lot of trees around. The hot tub was very pleasant as well. Decent shares for siting outside. Owner was reachable by WhatsApp/cellphone and responded friendly/quick.

The house is cleaned well, but some of the materials are not as 'cleanible'. (Ceiling covered with reed, wooden floor -table). I was hoping for a slightly bigger breakfast (only coffee for drinks - no yoghurt, the breads needed to be baked still). Swimming pool is not heated, not fully clean during our stay. No full privacy because the property has a house that was rented too (our balihouse used to be the garage but was renovated). kids safety could be a bit better: trampoline is there but has no net, nice garden but not (fully) closed from the surrounding pond)

Locatie is top, ontbijt zat erbij en konden we zelf klaarmaken.

Er hangen geen gordijnen voor de ramen, dat is toch wel prettig.

The location was very peaceful and the forest was beautiful. The Bali design was lovely, quirky and colourful. Gated accommodation, so felt secure being in a forest. Spacious living room/ kitchen area. Lovely hot waterfall shower, really really enjoyed that. Nice to have a washing machine and dishwasher on holiday to pack less and no washing up 🙂. T.V was good to use of an evening for a chill time.

Unfortunately, the bed wasn’t comfortable for us and the pillows seemed quite old like there wasn’t a lot of stuffing in them, so felt like there wasn’t any support for our necks. The bamboo on the ceiling was also very low in the mezzanine bedroom, so felt very claustrophobic. The bamboo was also dusty and had cobwebs, so was conscious of the fact we were breathing that in. The window let in a nice breeze but this would let mosquitoes in that would hide in the bamboo so we got eaten alive, therefore had to keep it shut. The garden area was lovely, but the photos and the write up make it seem like the pool and the whole garden was for you to enjoy privately. This was the case most days, but the owner works from home and works at a table looking out into the pool area. For us we was hoping for something more private. There was also a day that the owner had a party in the garden for his sons birthday. Marcel was lovely enough to invite us along, but was just not expecting something like that on our holiday. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t amazing during our weeks stay but one of the days it was hot enough there had been an issue with the pool so the water was extremely cold and unbearable to swim in. So we didn’t actually get any use out of the pool. Small things we thought may of been included in the accommodation was just things like firelighters for the BBQ and the first bag of logs free for the fire pit, this is just based on a comparison to other places we have travelled to. The kitchen is well equipped but it states that there is an oven on the write-up but it’s a microwave oven not a proper one. It cooks pizza really good but not much else. The Bluetooth speaker was something we was looking forward to using, as we are a couple that likes music more than T.V. Unfortunately, the bass has been blown in the speaker, which gives off a continuous buzzing noise. It also states on the write-up that breakfast is included.
