The ARIRAS Resort

Nice small villas in a beautiful garden. Large and clean room. Quiet place. Creaking bed and missing towel were fixed by the staff promptly.

No beach. On the sea side, the area ends by a concrete wall. Access to the sea via stairs. Temporarily the sea is full of garbage. Pool requires an urgent reconstruction. Overstaffed (9 people in the restaurant for 2 guests). Poor food. The staff is "over-polite," which is annoying. Last but not least, a cocroach visited our bathroom. :-(

Lovely local resort and very friendly staff.

A shame there is no access to the beach.

Friendly staff, remembers your name, beautiful room and views, good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Room service is being done twice a day.

We have been given room 109 that is just behind the reception and the staff buildings and we could hear lots of talks and noise as every guest and staff were walking by the room to access the hotel

Klimaanlage im oberen Bereich funktioniert leider nicht gut,wir wurden aber sehr gut entschädigt und das Personal hat alles getan um uns den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen

Large, high vaulted room with large comfortable bed, the best pillows I’ve ever experienced. Super clean white bedding (changed daily) and super soft towels. Very clean room that was serviced discreetly and promptly whenever I was out. Garden area and paths are beautiful. Front reception staff are very professional and helpful. Smart TV in the room. The area behind the resort is quieter than being on the main road of Candidasa. (It’s about 10 minutes to walk in..) What did upset me was though was the fires that many surrounding neighbours are having, burning waste (and sometimes what smelt like plastics). Who wants to go on holiday only to return home with worse health conditions. (The smoke from fires would often wake me in the mornings as the a/c would draw it in.) Very unhealthy! This practice should be stopped if they care about their health and the health of the tourists.

The pool is quite dated and in need of some repairs … some large tiles are missing. I only swam in it once as I found the chlorine quite strong. You cannot access beach from resort, there are steps but these take you to the sea and a very slippery concrete, often sea covered platform which is dangerous to walk on. Unfortunately I didn’t find the restaurant great, I am vegetarian and there were only a couple of options. The service is ‘very attentive’, I found this a little intense but that, I’m sure is because of my shy personality.

Wir waren zu viert im einem Familienzimmer für vier Nächte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, höflich, zuvorkommend und einfach nur herzlich. Die Zimmer waren sehr sehr schön. Bequeme Betten, sauber und geräumig. Wir haben uns stets sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Roller-Ausleihe und Taxi hat das Hotelpersonal gebucht und alles hat problemlos funktioniert. Alle waren immer um unser Wohl bemüht. Die Lage war traumhaft, schöne Aussicht, schöne und gepflegte Anlage mit besonderem Charme. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig! Wir haben unseren gesamten Aufenthalt lange nur dort gegessen. Besonders die Angestellten im Restaurant waren sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Gerade Abel und Yulia werden wir sehr vermissen!

Das einzige was uns etwas gefehlt hat war ein direkter/ angenehmer Zugang zum Meer.
