Aloha Surf Hostel

The Hostel was really lovely and the city center as well as the Mercado in walking distance. Joe and Matti were super lovely hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed. They also know a lot about the town and gladly tell you everything you need to know! Other guests were also nice, kitchen and bathroom in good condition.

No hot water, but Joe boiled some for us to shower when we asked for it

Joe and his mom are such warm hosts! Location is close to shopping, beach and airport.

Nice quiet little hostel walking distance from the art district. Rooms were clean and everyone was nice.

This place is super special ! You will stay in a small hostel (only 6 beds for the moment) in a very intimate setting. The place is run by Joe and his mom Mathilda who are such sweethearts. Joe is an incredible surfer and a super patient teacher. Mathilda is full of stories and is very patient with you if your Spanish isn’t very advanced. They are both such positive energies and are very happy to share a piece of their country with travelers. I feel very lucky to have stayed with them.

This place allows you to get fully emerged in local atmosphere and culture. They truly make you feel like family. The memories or mama's burritos and Joe's surfmobile will always bring a smile to my face.
