SBG Resort Lambug

This is a very nice resort in a quiet location that is close to many activities. Many necessities are provided and beds are comfortable. If you're lucky enough to be there when Gemma is there, she is very awesome! Very friendly and helpful, especially with coordinating activities in the area. Great place to stay!

It's very beautiful, nice swimming pool and only 2 km from white sand beach 🏖

Our best stay in Cebu. the swimming pool is really nice. the environmznt is very calm and peacefull. ladies of the staff took good care of us. you need to be mobile as it's a little remote, 15 min scooter from Moalbal. but that's exactly what we were looking for.

The resort and staff were very nice. We liked that it was small and quaint property, but had spacious rooms, and that there was a pool. Our breakfast was included, which was important since you were in the middle of nowhere. All other meals you need to plan for, since there is nothing onsite, but they are able to order in for you from local restos. Very basic but very pleasant. I believe they had motor bikes available, but since we never used, I'm not sure if it was complimentary if you just wanted to get food

The showers were inconsistent. We had 2 rooms, one was perfect, the other had only cold water for the entire time we were there. Location was too remote, even though overall it was a very pleasant stay. As expected in the province, add the remoteness of this place, there are a lot of bugs (thankfully not in the rooms).

Kind and careing host. Very clean and spacious room, very mice and quiet AC, good ventilation in bathroom. Location is average- no shops or good restaurants in walking distance.

Great pool, great view, clean rooms and helpful staff, great wifi. All that for a very fair price.

Only downside is that they only serve breakfast which aren’t very rich and that you have to call by yourself to nearby restaurant to order a food for lunch and dinner.

Staff were incredible, they were super friendly and helpful. Definitely the highlight of the place. We had delays with our check in due to weather conditions and they were easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The resort itself was clean, and relatively modern. The water pressure in the shower was great. The outdoor pool was a nice addition.

The resort is quite isolated from other places in Cebu, resteraunts, activities etc. You need a vehicle to get around, tricycle rides are quite far/long and expensive. Staff informed us that guests of the resort would have the environmental fee waived at Lambug beach, however this was not the case. This is fine, but the staff shouldn’t share this information with guests if it’s incorrect.

Basic hotel requirements were not met (Rooms were not made, towels not changed, toilet paper not added, water not refilled) Barking dogs throughout the night didn’t help us recover from jet lag Also we had arranged for a driver back to the airport who showed up 30min late which caused a lot of stress (thought we would miss our flights!)
