Host & Stay - Well Farm Cottage

Excellent cottage. Great facilities

Difficult to identify. Cottage should have its name at the front. Drivers cannot easily identify location

Cottage was lovely.beds were extremely comfy.bathroom was spotless.lounge was cosy and kitchen was big& a place we spent most of our time.

The stairs were extremely narrow and even though they had handrails on either side it was difficult for my parents to get up& down. The gate needed chicken wire or something to stop small dogs getting under however when I spoke to the owner it was already on his list to do! It’s a pity it wasn’t already done as the garden area was lovely with seating area and bbq& we couldn’t make use of it!

Cosy cottage with lots of original features. The beds were really comfy. The kitchen had everything we could have needed and more. Ther shower was exceptional. Will stay again.

Beautiful cottage, well furnished and immaculate. Would stay again.

The only negative would be that it's right on a busy road but you soon forget about the traffic noises.

The cottage was warm, inviting and comfortable. Easy to get to Matlock, Bakewell and surrounding areas. If you did not have a car there is a bus stop close to the property. The local pub served good food, it looked like it was always busy. Behind the property was a gate that took you along a path where you could see some amazing views. We booked last minute and stayed Thursday to Sunday but wished we had stayed longer. I am sure we will be back but will plan our time better on our next visit to take in more of the surroundings

The location was perfect for a Christmas visit to Chatworth House. Great walks nearby for our dog and nice pub opposite. The cottage had been recently refurbished and to a very high standard/ So comfortable and like a home from home. Host was super friendly and helpful.

The road is quite busy but you don't notice it inside so it was never an issue. Wifi was a bit temperamental as only seemed to allow one user at a time.
