"Clean but basic"

It was clean and the beds were comfortable. A bit hard but that’s usual in Vietnam. Shared shower is clean too.

Lack of communication with hosts and lack of hospitality. We booked it because we read a lot of amazing reviews about the hospitality of the hosts, so we booked it thinking we would get an authentic homestay experience. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case at all. It was just a bed and a shared bathroom in an old famers village. When we we woke up in the morning at 8, the place was totally empty so we couldn’t check out let alone pay. We left the money in the room…
