Villa Pura Vida Apartments Siargao

everything about the apartment is great, from the check in with Mark, to the cleanliness, good wifi, nice kitchen with complimentary coffee, comfortable bed, good quiet AC, nice shower. location is right on tourism road next to greenhouse cafe and Sev, 2 great food options. definitely recommend and will stay here again.

The apartments are as new and stylish, if not more, than you see in the pictures. All the basics like salt and oil are provided in the kitchen and my friend loved the adorable coffee set up. We had the smallest type apartment, which had one big bed and a japanese-style futon (basically a mattress for sleeping on the floor - my friend said it was perfectly comfortable). The best part of staying here was the service though. Mark was an incredible host and I almost felt bad bothering him so much and at all times of the day, but he always tried his best to help us and always with a smile! Whether it was where to go out on a certain night or arranging tours or laundry service. We also met one of the owners (if I remember correctly, from the UK) on our last day who was very friendly. No issues at all with noise, located in a pretty peaceful area.

It was really hard to find - but just remember that it is between Greenhouse and Ceviche and you will be good. Keep in mind that if you want to have the apartment cleaned you have to arrange the day before and pay a little extra - but it is such a small amount and a pleasure to support the local economy. So these aren't things we didn't like actually, just things I think other travelers should know.

we valued the property manager the most and his helpfulness in getting us a scooter rental, booking tours and fixing any issues that arose.

There was some painting that was done prior to our arrival and we had difficulty with the fumes while sleeping. We had to keep doors open to air it out. Despite this we would return because of the location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.

This apartment is simply beautiful, it had everything we needed (big bed, fully equipped kitchen, shower separated from toilet by wall, hot water), and it was very clean - which was mainly what we were looking for. Marc was very helpful, he gave us tips and was always avaliable when we needed something. Some days were a bit rainy, and we were really glad that we chose this accomodation. We higly recommend this place!😊

Just a tip: don’t leave any food on the counters, ants are super quick on this island!😁
