THE SECRET GARDEN

Alles war super! Von der freundlichen Gastgeberin über die schöne Unterkunft bis hin zur fantastischen Aussicht. Mary ist ein sehr liebe Gastgeberin, die uns freundlich empfangen hat und jederzeit bei Rückfragen zur Verfügung steht. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man für das alltägliche Leben benötigt. Sie liegt zentrumnah, aber auch gleichzeitig so weit weg vom Trubel der Restaurants, dass man seine Ruhe hat. Highlight sind natürlich die Balkone und der schöne Garten, auf denen wir viel Zeit verbracht haben. Sie boten einen Blick über Forza d'Agro, Taormina und den Ätna. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Eigentlich nichts. Wichtig ist, dass man gut zu fuß sein sollte, da das Auto etwas weiter unten auf einer Straße geparkt wird. Der kürzeste Weg zur Unterkunft führt über einen kleinen Pfad mit mehreren unterschiedlich hohen Treppenstufen.

We had the pleasure of visiting the most wonderful oasis – a place filled with beautiful and carefully chosen decorations that created a truly special atmosphere. In the evening, it became even more magical with the lovely and atmospheric lighting. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A place we highly recommend and would love to return to.

The property was beautifully styled and very clean, everything you could possibly want was there. A lovely garden with sunbeds, a lovely terrace to relax with comfortable chairs and a little balcony off the main bedroom. The view is stunning and Mary was a lovely host.

Nothing at all about the property. The hill to get there was steep and was scary going up in the car the first time but we got used to it.

Mary’s place one of the best houses I have ever stayed. Every element and object in the house is chosen with big thoughts and care. it feels very comfortable and the house looks like as if it was taken from some fairytale. The kitchen: All the facilities and equipment was high quality. There was all essential and secondary kitchen supplies which was great in case you like to cook! Bedroom: The bed was huge and blankets, pillows and bedsheets were high quality and very soft. Me and my mom liked it very much! Terrace: There were two balconies (one big and one small). The big one close to the kitchen and small one was close to the bedroom. There also was a secret garden which is on a level below the kitchen. All three provide an amazing view on the sea and the mountains. We absolutely loved our stay and would sincerely like to thank Mary and Concetta for their hospitality and help. Besides all of above mentioned, Mary was very kind helping us arranging a taxi to the house as we could drive. Thank you so much Mary for everything! Cheers, Felizia and Bibi

There is no public transport and if you don’t drive, please take into consideration that you would need to call a taxi every time. I heard there is a bus once a day but no one knows when it is. The comment is not related to the house itself.

Very comfortable and beautiful apartment with multiple balconies, stunning view to the sea and Etna

The location was perfect, situated in a quiet town in the hillside, lots of restaurants nearby, only a short drive to the beach. The views from the balcony were incredible! Mary was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Nothing to complain about, only that we didn’t stay for longer!

Everything was good. Especially the landwiew from the three full equipment teraces. That was gergeous!

The host is absolutely charming woman - helpful and caring of us ❤️ Apartment has three different terraces with stunning view (even Etna was visible). We loved one terrace the most - with the “secret”, cozy and well maintained garden 🪴 outdoor cooking in this terrace and dining made feel us very privately and with the romantic charm. There was many products prepared for our stay. All apartment was clean. Interior is made with good taste and with artistic aura. These were wonderful 2 nights we were able to stay here.
