Base Camp Cottage

The house was comfortable and homely and amazingly equipped with everything and more you could ever need! We LOVED that we could bring our dog with us too! Location was epic also.

Not very central but fine with a car

Place is lovely, all you need for a stay. Location was also excellent, quiet, shady, near an excellent pet friendly and welcoming pub/restaurant and takeaway (5 mins walk).

Lovely stylish funky cottage.. lovely owners

I like the little additions that make the house more like home. We cooked a better meal because of the spices and sauces available. We loved the paper maps on the coffee table. Relaxed outside as there is outdoor furniture and enjoyed watching the birds fly away with fallen plums. We had a very relaxing stay as everything was well organised. My husband adds that there are lots of electrical wall sockets.

We liked location, very quiet. The cottage was full of old-world charm, and although still a work in progress, it's a credit to Cliffy and Sal. Very generous with all amenities. Thank you guys, would love to stay again for a few nights more.

Great location, close to town, the lake and the pools. The house was well equipped and comfortable, in a quiet neighbourhood. We all loved the outdoor living area and spent a lot of time on the outdoor couch, under the shade of the trees.
