We loved it nice and quiet

I loved it all around no complaints

The communication was very bad

There was plenty of space for the 4 of us.

The heat came from one bedroom only. It became too hot in that bedroom. When we went to bed, we had to trun down the heat and the rest of the place got too cold.

Furnishings were very nice.

THIS IS A PIG WITH LIPSTICK INITIAL EXPERIENCE: The write-up on booking.com references "Free Parking Available On Site". It was street parking and was very limited by everyone putting their trash out (Friday night). The outside lock wouldn't let us in. Fortunately, the person renting the other apartment let us in and pointed to the stairs leading up to our apartment - very steep, narrow stairs that would be difficult to manage with real suit cases (we had day packs). Also, the front door lock wouldn't lock unless you pulled hard on the doorknob with one hand while pressing the lock button. At this point, we started a room by room inspection. CENTRAL HALL: There is a storage closet with cleaning products, vacuum and other "maintenance" type items. It was not locked. In fact, the knob was broken and the door sat ajar. The write-up on booking.com says children are welcome... This is a danger. KITCHEN: Refrigerator - Nice big Side-by-side. The light didn't work unless the freezer was open and then it flickered RAPIDLY. THERE WAS NO ICE. The ice maker didn't work and there were no trays so we couldn’t just make some. LIVING ROOM: Wall clock didn't work. Several outlets had scorch marks where sparking had occurred. One sparked at us badly when we plugged into it. There was a bottle of wine on the coffee table provided by the proprietor... it would have been a nice touch except that it was spoiled and had turned into fizzy vinegar. NO SMOKE DETECTORS The place would never pass a safety or electrical inspection due to electrical issues found. OUTSIDE: The "Balcony" is a landing at the top of the back stairs which had a large poison ivy plant growing up them. The "View" is of the neighbor's yard with stagnant water in the pool cover (lots of mosquitoes), industrial dumpster, old pickup truck and other trash. The train track is near and blows its whistle at all hours - VERY LOUD.
