The Shepherds Hut

It's nice place, clean and comfortable! Very good for relaxing!

Everything was peaceful and very quiet. I really liked from beginning the host , was helpful, barbeque facilities and cabin was so clean and comfy !

Nothing, everything was just perfect .

Quite practically everything it was quiet, and clean, there were 2 dogs that were adorable. The hut was so cozy and calming. It was course enough to st clears to access takeaways and shops etc but far enough away to feel very calming. The hosts were so friendly and on hand if needed. We loved it

Honestly only 1 thing and that’s the shower; it wasn’t very hot and the pressure was quite weird so it wasn’t massively enjoyable but it is the only slight issue

The location was brilliant and the hut so tastefully furnished and equipped. I would just say maybe a small fold away table which could be stored under the bed would be useful as we sat in the comfy chairs with a sharing board and had to use the bed to put trays on. Also a wall mirror for drying hair. Really minor issues but would be useful.

Amazing location. Small but had everything we needed. Marion the host was lovely. Great location with so many places to visit nearby. As independent travellers having our own front door and space was wonderful. If we head back to Wales we will be rebooking.

Cooking facilities are limited but done well for a small space.

Very pretty to look at upon arrival. Some lovely finishing touches. Nice Welsh cake welcome and fresh milk. Cosy and welcoming.

The location on the actual driveway wasn’t conducive for much privacy, and not fairly represented by the images before the visit. The lack of curtains on the front door again caused limited privacy and lack of darkness at night. You couldn’t get undressed unless the curtain next to the bed was closed as over looked by the farmhouse and other dwellings. Lack of a stay guide pre or upon arrival meant when we had no hot water we couldn’t read up on where to locate the override button late at night or early morning. Marian helped when we saw her later the second day but a guide in the room or instructions upon on arrival would be helpful. Limited cooking utensils. The shelf combined mirror over the half sink in the bathroom makes washing your dash or cleaning your teeth difficult as you can’t lean over the sink without banging your head.
