The Bernard Rooms

Location was great, easy to access with codes. Very comfortable bed and nice shower.

TV remote was damaged and didn't work right/at all. Had to boil the kettle on the floor because the nearest plug was on the wall, didn't feel overly safe & could be easily fixed with an extension cable. Could do with a black out curtain for light sleepers, was particularly light early.

Convenient for St Mary’s Stadium, City.Centre and Ocean Village.

Noise from other rooms. Poor hanging space but ok for a couple of nights

Easy to follow instructions for self entry of premises and room Good location just off the high street and for St Mary's Stadium. Room basic but comfortable. Bathroom clean and modern with good shower and plenty of hot water.

The biggest and only issue for me was the constant bright light in the hallway which couldn't be turned off Weirdly the door seemed slightly small for the doorway and it let in so much bright light that it affected going to sleep.

The location was convenient and close to shops, restaurants, the train station, bus stops and a park.

It was very noisy and the stairwell light shined in through the door at night.

Location

It was dirty, human poo on the bathroom door. Shower hose had a hole in it. Dirty towels left from previous occupants Generally unclean, no teaspoons very noisy. Awful smells of cooking throughout the whole building which would fill our room. Although they offered us alternative room it was no better and would have been a great deal of hassle.

The self check-in was very convenient and the bed was comfy. The location was quite convenient too.

The parking was not great, the street parking was only short stay and the car park opposite did not provide long term parking either. Only one spoon was provided, no other cutlery, and only one coffee packet alongside some opened sugar packets. The shower often went cold, even during quick showers. The toilet was also leaking.
