The road is not well maintained

Very neat and clean and well equipped. Beautiful location.

They advertise full Wifi but none was available in the room.

What breakfast?

No electricity, waited hours to have a generator connected to get ready for a wedding. The generator was small could only use a single plug. No breakfast options. The roads are terrible and we were not warned that we should come with a 4x4, i feel like the road situation should have been communicated with us before travelling all the way there in our small car. The security gate did not open after our wedding, around midnight, and we sat and waited 15 minutes in our car for someone to come open for us. All and all it was a terrible experience.

Loved the setting, such a nice swimming pool, also just a short walk to go see the river (you can swim there too) Room 5 (family Room) was particularly nice & spacious, the bathroom was so big, had a gorgeous bath & a huge shower with cool settings! Upon arrival we came across some Golden Wildebeest & some buck! It was like a mini Game Drive. The braai area was communal but it was really amazing and fully equipped. Next time we will try the pizza oven! The beds were very comfy, the bedding was clean and we all had a great sleep.. We felt at home but in a different environment around us! The sound of the river was so lovely.

It was a bit strange that outside our bathroom there was a stoop for one of the other rooms and there were always people sitting there and smoking and talking loudly. The smoke also wafted into the bathroom so we had to keep the windows closed which was a bit stuffy.. Also some of the other guests played loud music (luckily not till late) but it’s preferable to go to these places and listen to the sounds of nature..

The facilities are great, Elizabeth was quite helpful.

The location, no clear signage

Very peaceful. Hiking trail along the river, was great fun. Game visible on walks. Friendly & helpful hosts.

Some suggestions: larger mugs, braai tongs, ice trays, larger towels would be great. Better internal lighting would be useful. Gravel road inside camp could do with some help after the storms.

The place was lovely. The environment is quite and a great place to relax and enjoy nature
