Dodge House Hotel

Pros: great WiFi speed. Great water pressure in both the tub and shower. Staff was helpful.

Hotel in general was in disarray and disgusting. Trash everywhere, on the carpets, common use areas. First room that was showed, had pools of something on the bedframe, the chairs and handles were very sticky, mold growing in the tub. Tried to get a refund per the poor hygiene of the hotel and they declined. The advertised restaurant was closed. Several random people hanging out in the parking lot, was super uneasy leaving my vehicle in the parking lot. Just don't.

Beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. Lady at the front desk was super nice. Just passing through but was super rough.

Wanted to give an honest review. Usually not to critical about places but wanted to share with other travellers. This hotel had high scores and reviews and it could have just been our room but I’m not sure how it score so so high. The place is outdated yes, needs to be remodelled and have ALOT of work done but our room was pretty bad. - The cabinet and table looked like it has been chewed up on the corners. -I could not find a single power plug accessible to charge my phone that wasn’t behind a bed or tv cabinet. -curtains were red and very transparent -the sheets did have some stains on them -the bathroom was in rough shape, super mouldy air vents and the shower rod was literally falling out of the wall, the anchors had been ripped out. -lot of skum on shower head and sink. -two room chairs covered in unknown stains -the other tenants were also a little odd. Maybe a few transients, one guy slept with the door open, his items all over the floor and he was passed out on the bed, with an awful smell. Was a little concerning. Make your own assumptions, it was fine for the night because it was late and we were dead tired travelling through but would not stay again sadly. Stayed in better camping spots out in the bush with no water, power or buildings

The staff is the absolute best. Super nice, super helpful and very personable. They even switched our room since my husband has trouble with stairs.

There was a light from next door shining thru our windows but the staff got us a blanket and it was fine after that.

We loved the Western style and memorabilia

The restaurants and saloon bar were closed

I like that it’s under new management can finally stay and enjoy our time there without always feeling like your being watched by the manager who should of never worked in that environment

Wish they would put a little work into the rooms but will definitely stay here again
