Villa Maria Sofia

Wonderful location sitting just 2 minutes from the steps down to Scala dei Turchi beach and the magnificent White Cliffs. Further along the road in the opposite direction are wonderful viewpoints overlooking the White Cliffs. Gated premises mean great security for parked vehicles. Apartment was well appointed, very comfortable and scrupulously clean. Max and Eleonora contacted us in advance to help with arrival details and Max warmly welcomed us. Great breakfast at their other property 100 metres up the road. One night stay enroute to Palermo which far exceeded our expectations.

The location was perfect to visit the scala de turchi. Moreover if you go 50 meter by the street you get a panoramic view for the sunset. If you walk down to the beach 10-15 minutes you will be at the scala de turchi.

The owners of this property grew up in this beautiful corner of Sicily. They know the ins and outs of travel in and around Agrigento. The nearby beach options were so relaxing. The owners,Leonora and Massimo treated me like family. What a joy

I went before the full season. My transportations options were special, i am very independent. I needed a rental car -- but Lorena helped me find the right match for me. This is not a complaint -- in fact, once I gained this method of transoortation, the vacation was more rewarding and unique.

At Villa Maria Sophia, along with its partner B&B Eleonora, we were welcomed and treated royally by Massimiliano and his family. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast had a special personal touch, and parking was very easy. Of course what made it really attractive was its location right by the Scala di Turchi which was easily accessible on foot.

The breakfast is served in the nearby Villa Eleanora, which is operated by Maria's parents. Her father is a great guy who, despite very little English spoke with us for 20 minutes about everything and anything! Amazing:-)
