GBGBFantastic place, 20 minutes from our walk around the Roaches. Lovely seating area outside to take in the surrounding views, and the hut itself really is all you need, breakfast pack is a nice treat. Highly Recommend due to great value for money
GBEverything! Instantly felt at home, our stay was super comfortable and clean. The host Barbara was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Freshly layed eggs, and more than enough ingredients to have breakfast and snacks too. We had a BBQ on site which was a perfect way to spend our evenings with a sunset when the weather allowed it. The place is spot on, only a short drive from all the main attractions in Peak District. Surrounded by stunning views and some fury friends on the grounds :) We would definitely come back.

I would expect more attention to detail in cleanliness. The water in the shower was not warm enough.
GBGBEverything was perfect, the Golden Fleece is a little hidden gem 🙂 its beautiful inside and out it has a veranda built around the hut and the view is amazing. Barbara is a lovely lady very helpful and we got some lovely goodies left in the hut for us we would defo come back xx
We luved everything.
GBGreat little space, wonderful view and a lovely walk to the pub for something to eat. We cycled in, so having a porch was perfect as it meant we had somewhere dry to keep out bikes.
The hot water tank is quite small, and as I have long hair, it didn't really give me enough hot water to wash my hair or to warm up after a long bike ride. But that's a minor thing.
GBFantastic views and a great pub serving delicious food a short walk away. Comfy bed and clean shepherds hut. Little touches of fresh eggs and fresh milk was lovely
Bathroom window needs a blind as over looks another hut so no privacy in the bathroom. Would benefit from some signage on the road to let you know where the property is!
