Catch Up Dambulla

It was a clean place with a nice view.

My mother and I wanted to spend more than we usually do in a nice hotel where we could relax and watch movies so we called ahead and asked if they had Netflix and we were specifically told that they did. But when we got there, the television wasn't even working and the person working said nothing about it until we had to ask him to fix it. Eventually he did but there was absolutely no Netflix. The king size bed was actually two twin beds, each at different heights, pushed together. We were never told they had food available until having to ask. And at one point the lock on our room wouldn't open and we got stuck outside for about twenty minutes until the people working there had to bust the door in. And even after all that we got offered nothing to make up for all of this so my mom and I had to bug them to get our dinner on the house

The most dirty hotel I've seen in my life. The building itself is dirty, the room was full of insects, a dirty toilet, a broken bathroom, no food and beverages. We asked them if they were about to serve us dinner, and a naked man came out of the room and said not tonight!!!!! The kettle plug was not working either. And absolutely no one was there to answer. I wonder about the people who commented about this hotel in the booking app.

Total frauds !!!! All the pictures are fake and all the comments are wrong. Seriously. I never expected the comments on the booking app to be such misleading.

Very calm location, quick drive from the main road. nice pool and sunbeds, very friendly and helpful staff. All in all very very nice stay!!

It’s in the heart of the city but you get to be surrounded by nature too. Perfect location / Amazing hospitality/ Fantastic breakfast

We had a great stay at catch up dambulla. Amazing staff! Amazing view! Amazing breakfast! Unfortunately we stayed only one night… next time we will stay longer for sure.

Good value for money stay in mid-range hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, Very friendly and professional stuff. bought me tickets and free guidance for the future destinations. highly appreciate the service. pool was great

Clean room with big comfy bed, hot shower, A/C, Fan, mosquito nets, Mini fridge and even your own personal hammock to relax. Foods were fabulous. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in dambulla!!!

The services and offerings, including reception and food, are at the upper-notch level. It has a surrounding of vast lawns and tranquil neighborhood. loved the big pool. food was amazing.

Very nice accomodating host. Beautuful view from balkony. Nice, new rooms.
