Wolds Wine Estate

Quiet & clean practical location fairly close to Loughborough Uni night before graduation ceremony. Easy checkin : checkout.

Everything was fine.

We stayed as two families in the two four-person pods (Chardonnay and Rondo). The pods are ideal for a comfy, peaceful, fuss-free stay. Everything worked as it should, the team was easy to contact with any queries we had but everything was straightforward from booking to check out. The vineyards and surrounding area are home to so much wildlife - waking up to the sounds of that and a view over the growing vines each morning was just lovely. We used the barbecue a lot and the kitchen facilities in the pod were plenty for what we needed. The wifi works well and there's a smart TV but we all took the opportunity to disconnect a little as it was just so nice sitting out on the sun deck, watching the children play and relax (with a glass or two of the Estate's wine!). We took the opportunity to book ahead on the wine tour and that was great - interesting to learn more about English vineyards and this Estate's approach to wine and cider making. Would really recommend. I understand the team is planning to open a cafe on site, which would be ideal as an easy alternative to cooking. It's a lovely little gem, so worth a visit!

Excellent location and surroundings. Very comfortable villa, easy to find, park and settle in. Brilliantly equiped kitchen Would gladly stay again

Very minor note here, but would have preferred more warm white light bulbs in the fittings.

We loved our stay, and will definitely book again. The pod was fantastic, it had everything we needed for the night.
