Koh Rong Homestay

Price and bed.

Toilet stopped working but that can happened. The alley is a bit crazy ;)

Can’t really think of anything we “Liked” about our stay.

The sheets on the bed are scratchy and need to be thrown out. AC and Water supply were questionable.

Big comfortable bed, clean. In good location. Easy check in. Overall good value for money with it being air conned place on the island.

Quite dark without much natural light so just felt a bit dark and dingy. Lots of construction and drilling in the morning. Strong smells would come into the room - some pleasant (the bakery behind), but others unpleasant of nearby cooking with fish sauce.

Need to use the fan with the AC or it would be really warm and flush in toilets are a bit fragile

Comfy bed, new bedsheets and towels, modern AC with lots of settings. Just in front of the pier , everything walking distance. Hot shower available. Communications in English. No mosquitoes (or very few) and no insects or other animals in the room. Wi-fi was good, we managed to work , but in the evening speed was a bit slower

It’s in the middle of buzzing street, so lots of noisy businesses around. If you are a light sleeper, I feel like majority accommodations would be noisy, unless they are in the jungles. But there you will have a lot of insects and other wildlife. There are windows, but all facing other buildings walls.

The room was very clean and the staff was so friendly

The room is spacious and clean , just 30 meters from the public beach , the owner was really kind , they help us to arrange the tour and transportation at the island They also have mini store for selling many kind of product

There is no restaurant, but you will find out many different restaurants nearby

Friendly staff and helpfull, clean bathroom, location nearby the pier, free wifi
