Vista Bahia Zihua

Excellent emplacement et un vue à coupe le soufle (monter au 3ème. ça vaux vraiement la peine). Décoré avec goût et piscine agréable. Entrée surveillée.

Rien à dire.

La vista a la Bahía es hermosa, las habitaciones amplias y cómodas, los guardias fueron excelentes personas con nosotros, Carmen siempre atenta, la alberca en muy buenas condiciones, tranquila y con una vista increíble, ideal para relajarse después de estar en el mar, en general todo muy bien todo.

Una de las ventanas laterales pequeñas en la sala no abría, pero no significa ningún problema en la estancia ni resta a la gran experiencia que oferta la casa.

Very functional yet homey apartment. Wonderful view and location.

View and location are fantastic! Quiet and comfortable! Very easy to walk to a nice beach or to the beautiful Paseo Pescador walkway that leads to the town center and more incredible beach views, shops and restaurants!

Wifi a bit weak in living room.

The location is spectacular with a wonderful view over Zihuatanejo Bay. It was a short walk along the beach into town with many little beach side bars and restaurants at which to stop for refreshments along the way. If you are not up to the walk back at the end of an evening then it's only a short 50 pesos taxi ride home. The building and the pool area are well kept and the 24hr security (although in Zihua safety is rarely a concern) was friendly and helpful. The apartment, although a little dated, was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for two couples. Even on 32 degree days, the cool ocean breeze blowing through the huge windows made AC (although available) unnecessary. My wife and I have visited Zihuatanejo a number of times over the past years and have never been disappointed. This trip was no different. Casa Bahia was our first non-hotel experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Jim and Holly were very forthcoming with information and we were delighted with their recommendations for bars and restaurants that we had not visited before. Upon arrival we enjoyed a warm greeting from Carmen the property manager even though we arrived outside of the normal check in hours. Throughout our stay Carmen was always readily available for any questions and arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport the day we left. All in all a fantastic stay!

One thing to consider is the accessibility. The building has no elevator and the stairs could be a little challenging. We are all in our seventies and managed quite well but in the hotter months especially after a margarita or two the stairs from the beach and then to the apartment may prove difficult for some. The stairs to and from the beach were the perhaps equivalent to a 4 storey climb. The same for the road leading to the apartment. A taxi solves this problem as they drop you at the front door of the building. Definitely not a dealbreaker - the view was always well worth the climb but something to consider if you have mobility issues.
