Sakura Surf Lanka Hotel & Restaurant

I originally planned to stay for just three nights, but I ended up staying nearly two weeks — that says it all. I tried three different rooms and each one was thoughtfully set up, with super comfy beds, the best shower setup I’ve seen on the island, and excellent air conditioning. The breakfast was simple but that’s what I loved the most about it, just perfect when you need to have a break from curry (if you know, you know). The location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beach, and if you head left, you’ll reach a quieter stretch that’s perfect for peaceful walks. If you go right, you’ll find the main surfing schools and the main spot just a couple of minutes away. Above all, Ann and the team were incredibly kind and caring every single day, which truly made my stay special. It’s a hotel, but it really felt like a homestay.

Nothing at all

Great room, very comfy bed, very good located - beach is just across the road where you can surf.

Breakfast was okay, some homestays in Sri Lanka give a little bit more love into it. But still, this was ok.
