The Victory Villa

We loved it . Peaceful, stunning views , hummingbirds , comfy room ,a great pool and right above our favourite beach , Englishmans . And Wayne , what can I say ? He is the perfect host , nothing is too much trouble . We will return .

Nothing , the road is a bit challenging ! But not a problem .

The most beautiful property right on top of the hills which made you feel like you are in paradise. Amazing views, hundreds of birds and an incredible breakfast! The room and facilities were great, clean and super comfortable. The pool was refreshing and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! Our host, Wayne was friendly, chatty and full of great stories and facts about the area!

We chose against getting a rental car (and loved the walks down the beach) but some people may find the location tricky without a car to get around!

The location was spectacular overlooking Englishman’s Bay and on the fringe of the rain forest. As a previous comment the nearest place to paradise on earth! Our host Dr Wayne was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and his rum punch cocktail was spectacular!

Difficult to find fault with this amazing place. Because of its exclusive position you will need a car to explore the area and access shops of any kind. The track to the property is an off road experience to be enjoyed.

The PERFECT place to unwind and recharge. The owner/host Wayne is a gem, he knows so much about the history and has perfect suggestions on guides and outings. Plus the breakfast and dinner served at the Villa are exceptional (at an extra reasonable charge). When I say he's the consummate host, I am not exaggerating. He truly elevated our vaction.

The road up to the Villa is gravel, but hardly a problem. There are a lot of similar roads on the island. Once you've arrived it's bliss!

We had a fantastic stay at the Victory Villa. The peaceful location in the rainforest, with panoramic views down to the ocean and the coast was idyllic. Our host Wayne made us feel completely at home and we found it hard to leave. Outstanding memories are the delicious dinners and breakfasts on the verandah with fellow guests, the cool, comfortable room, the stunning pool, the fascinating birds, Wayne's local knowledge and his help to arrange a quite magical day with an expert bird-watching guide.

The view is absolutely gorgeous. The whole entire time we were there we never locked our door and it was open for a majority of the time. You are completely safe it’s extremely quiet except for the waves from the ocean. All the other visitors got along extremely well and had a very nice time dining together and just sitting outside our rooms and chatting.

There wasn’t one single thing I didn’t like.

Comfortable, peaceful and relaxing with an amazing view and beautiful garden filled with hummingbirds. Wayne is a great host who was so helpful in guiding our trip on the that side of the island. He also provided meal options for breakfast and dinner, and organised a massage for us at short notice. He made the trip hassle free and allowed us to truly enjoy every single day of our trip
