Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation. Cooked breakfast was lovely with locally sourced products. Weate in the pub too for dinner - very good food!

This small country pub is less than 20 minutes from RSPB Bempton, so very convenient for visit to the seabirds. For those with four legged friends, it is dog -friendly. For those looking for good food, their meals and food quality excellent, using locally sourced ingredients. Their pies are home-made and delicious so highly recommended. Also good selection of ales. The rooms are very clean, but are starting to look a little dated, but as it’s run as a community pub, it is an excellent resource, so hopefully will get some investment when possible. Staff team fantastically helpful and the locals are very welcoming to visitors if you’re travelling alone. Take time to visit the monolith in the local churchyard - it’s said to be one of the tallest standing stones in the UK.

Great little hidden gem, staff were fantastic and friendly and food was great
