The property has amazing views, is incredibly clean and is located in an area with no construction work. The staff were incredibly helpful and the cost of everything from renting motorbikes to getting laundry done was very reasonable. The view from the room was incredible.

It is a decent walk in to town, around 20-30 minutes. However the property will rent you mopeds for the day and the distance from town means no noise from construction.

Big room, great breakfast it was simple but absolutely delicious! Both eggs and pancakes and ginger tea was surprisingly tasty and amazing! The guy in the reception was absolute sweet heart! Thank you

The view in our room six nice it is facing the bay but the property is not beachside as what we’ve thought . It is across the road and the beachside is not suitable for swimming since the water is not clear and it has no beach line and there are houses.

The sanitation. The room looks clean but in our first night when I was about to use the cups to drink coffee I saw 2 used cotton buds where the tray of the cups and coffee sachets are placed. Maybe the cotton buds were used from the previous guests. Though when I complained to the staff the cleaned our room well the following days of our stay. Another problem is their credit card machine didn’t worked .i booked at the booking.com and expected the booking. Com to deduct the bill from my credit card but the hotel staff told me that I must pay there in their hotel. We were bringing peso not dollars since the last time we were in Hanoi they changed peso. I ask and beg them to accept our peso but they insisted us to change our peso to dollar driving me to the town center but very sad to say nobody would change our peso to dollar in Cat Ba island. We went to an ATM machine which can’t also process my transaction. So in the end they have no choice but to accept our peso as payment. The worst thing is since it was my first time riding a motorcycle I tripped the moment I disembarked from the bike and fell and now I ended up with a sore hip.So blessed that my ankle doesn’t hurt that much and I can still walk. Breakfast also served has no variation only eggs , bread a small platter of fruits , and a choice of milk coffee and tea everyday. Alway the same.

The family and hotel were just perfect. The location and view are spectacular, away from the main hustle and bustle, making it very comfortable. We had a meal with the family, and it felt full of love. I highly recommend them

Quiet, away from the construction mostly. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff.

No duvet, just a sheet, and not a proper shower- maybe a little overpriced for what you get - also no consistent hot water

The view is unbeatable, especially with construction in the lower part of the island. Amazing service from Trung! He helped with early check in, special room and view request, and even offered many different day-tour options designed for our schedule, including a private, custom option. I had many questions, and he helped with all of them quickly. He helped book us an ideal day tour with a unique itinerary as well as the bus back to Hanoi. We were concerned we might not make the bus, and I think he also waited at the pier to ensure we would get on the bus back to Hanoi on time. Breakfast pancakes were also yummy. Thank you for a lovely stay and exceptional service!

Amazing help from Trung by message to organize the transfer to and from Cat Ba, and excursions (day trip on Lan Ha Bay, plankton night trip etc). The views from the 6th floor are nice. A few minutes away by foot to the port where all Lan Ha bay cruises depart.

Be careful to ask for a high floor, as the same room at the same price is sold for floors 4, 5 and 6. At floor 4, you will definitely not get the views (see pictures to compare 4 and 6), as a building is blocking it from the balcony. Trung was very understanding and we could have the 6th floor for our second night. The breakfast is quite simple, and the rooms a bit old, especially for that price. You will also need taxis to get to the Cat Ba port to have dinner.
