Cửa Biển Homestay

An interesting, unusual and calming collection of small containers set over two levels which give rise to a Homestay, meeting place/study and cafe. Lots of plants so the greenery softens the structures. Local interest of Miếu Trung Hành & Chùa Hưng Khánh, an ancient Temple and relics restored in the 17th Century. Striaght across the road are several eating places leading to a massive market which has a road specialising in flowers. There is a cafe onsite at the residence. A good bus service into Hai Phong itself is close by.

The rooms are like little bungalows made from shipping containers located in a wonderful hideaway garden. The homestay is a part of a complex which has the same name. They have a book café and many cultural activities such as film screenings and art workshops. The staffs offered us a short trip to discover the history of the local area nearby but we didn't have enough time. However it sounds nice and surely we will give it a try next time.

The complex used to have a restaurant but they told that they had closed it due to the low business. Therefore you only have some kinds of pastries for the breakfast in the house, or you must go out for more options. But there is a good thing of Haiphong that there is a lot of nice street food shops everywhere, so you can easily find some of them just across the street in no time.
