The downstairs shower was boiling hot and could not control the temperature which was dangerous and unable to use

Good location and very comfortable. Great to have parking! We had a lovely time. Also very pleased to find an airing cupboard for our wet clothes.

More cutlery and plates, plus fish slice and a better corkscrew. Toaster wasn’t working easily. Also we had a friend round for breakfast and couldn’t find an extra chair! Only 4 out but house is for 6.

"Enjoyable short stay in Lewes with family."

Location brilliant. Walkable to all key areas of Lewes. Parking spot at rear of premises extremely useful as road parking in immediate area very difficult.

Downstairs bedroom/bathroom musty and sometimes unpleasant smell (drains?). There was a dehumidifier working which suggests a damp problem. Kitchen bin for non-recyclables did not have a lid - a lidded bin would be better. Did not find information tablet easy to use, including for checking in and out, appliance instructions or local information. A paper folder with this information in with (eg) info about local restaurants, pubs, walking routes etc would have been useful.

"Great property, very well located for a short stay in beautiful Lewes."

Central location, very clean and tidy, with a well equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Everything felt very new and fresh. The rental staff were very helpful.

In the basement/downstairs bedroom the hoover was stored in the wardrobe and it smelt a bit damp and musty so we couldn't hang our clothes up.

"Great few days in a lovely property in a great location."

Excellent location. East to walk to the castle and the Main Street. Property is modern and well fitted. Beds comfortable and the lounge kitchen area was ideal. Great layout for two couples

Bathroom could have done with a waste bin. Kitchen could have done with a teapot. Signing in on the tablet didn’t seem to work. There is a pub next door which was no problem apart from when the barrels were replaced early one morning
