Had willen weten dat er iemand boven mij woonde, was niet bekend. Moest namelijk gebruik maken van mijn doorgang appartement.

Es un barco del año 1911. La decoración del interior es muy bonita. Las paredes forradas de madera barnizada, muchas ventanas en la cafetería. Buen desayuno. Amables. El dormitorio está a nivel de la línea de flotación. Mucha humedad y un tanto agobiante. El barco está atracado en el puerto de Ámsterdam en un lugar con restaurantes y cafeterías. Cerca está el transbordador para cruzar el canal.

Every aspect of our experience was spectacular - from the thoughtful offer of coffee at the restaurant next door as we awaited check-in, to the charming central location on Haarlem’s River Spaarne, to the outstanding faithful restoration of the house (complete with souvenir book of the house's history) & even to the quality of the pots & pans in the kitchen. All in all, an investment worth every Euro! Huge thanks to Monica, Pieter, and their son who lives upstairs for the warm welcome and careful attention to every detail! Heel hartelijke dank!

Stunning quirky apartment on multiple levels, writhing historic building right on the canal near lovely cafe/restaurants and the main cathedral square. Loved it!!

Great location, host was responsive and took pride in the property

Great location with excellent view from the upstairs room. The apartment itself had a charming, atmospheric feel and came equipped with all the necessary facilities. The host was accommodating and had great communication.

There weren't enough plates and cutlery, which made dining a bit challenging. The accommodation is a two-floor apartment, with a staircase between the living room and the kitchen leading to the 3rd floor where the owner's son lives. He occasionally walks by, and can be seen from the living room, making it feel not private. This setup was unexpected and we would have wanted to know beforehand, since the accommodation was listed as "entire apartment". There was quite a bit of noise from the neighbour, sometimes early in the morning.
