Cherry Tree Lodge

Cherry Tree Lodge is fabulous. We stayed in April 2025, family of 5 including 2 teenagers, for 1 night. Immaculately clean and beautifully finished. Bottle of chilled Prosecco on arrival. Able to bring our dog too which was a bonus. Owners Ian and Gillian were super friendly and helpful - even installed football nets within the first 5 mins of arriving when they saw we had two boys. The hot tub (with led lighting) was great, especially as it’s covered as weather was wet and windy and we were able to use late into the evening to warm up!

I loved the property. The hosts helped us find the area and made sure we had everything that we needed. They provided information about the area and told us to contact them if we needed anything. The accommodation was beautiful, peaceful, spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. I'm glad we were able to experience it.

We are just back from a nights stay, the lodge was spotless and had everything you needed. Lovely wee personal touches of complimentary Prosseco and marshmallows for the kids for toasting outdoors. The hot tub was amazing! Ian and Gillian were lovely hosts and even went above and beyond getting items back to us that we left behind!

Lovely cabin which has been very well thought out. Everything was good quality and the hot tub was extremely clean. The outside undercover seating was particularly good as our stay was wet. Having this meant we could still enjoy the outdoor space.

It’s not shown on the pictures, but the property is in the front of the owners garden and is visible from their house. We experienced no issues with privacy at all, and were made very welcome,but for me personally it made me feel a little uncomfortable.
