The Sunlight Home near airport and city

Fijn appartement om dichtbij vliegveld te slapen. Aan alles is gedacht zoals koffie, shampoo, water, schoonmaakmiddel, thee etc Appartement is zeer schoon, mooi groot en beschikt over sterke airco's. Vliegtuiggeluiden zijn bijna niet te horen door de goeie kozijnen. Host was ook netjes bereikbaar voor vragen en zeer hulpvaardig. Bij aankomst staat er zelfs een klein flesje Raki zodat je een extra goeie nachtrust hebt ;-)

Well maintained and so many useful luxuries in the house. Well set up if we were staying longer. Easy access to airport and city. Some great food and beverage venues nearby.

Very easy check in instructions were provided and the host was communicative throughout the process. It was a good place to stay for a night from the point of landing in the Heraklion port. Lots of space as well that can easily accommodate you.

It could have been a bit cleaner, particularly the bed sheets. As other reviewers mentioned, there wasn’t a comforter for the main bed. Location is a bit out of the center but manageable.

We had to spend one night before get ferry to another island. It was very convenient location for us. Apartment is very clean and with high ceiling.

Clean home, fully stocked kitchen, fresh feel to the interior. The extra beds were made up for us in the living room, which we really appreciated. Check-in was easy and the location was extremely convenient to get to downtown, the port, the airport. There are e en some shops, cafes and a supermarket within a few minutes walking distance.

Easy fix but there were no actual blankets on the beds, only flat sheets. We had to use the small throw blanket from the living room. Though I’m sure they would’ve provided them, had we asked! We were only there for a night so we just made do with what we had.

The flat had very nice furniture and there was everything necessary for proper cooking even if there are a lot of nice tavernas and restaurants nearby. Silent and well kept, with attention to details. Good position for reaching the airport with 18 euros. The host was very kind and gave us all the necessary information with great advance.

I would suggest to put thicker courtains in one of the rooms, even if the internal courtyard is not so much exposed to sunlight. This would just help people who get easily woke up by light.
