Moana Beach House

Lovely location, just in front of the beach. The owners and people who manage the hostel are super nice and welcoming, they helped us with everything. We had a little mixed up at check in since we paid for the entire room for ourselves and they wanted to split our group but we explained what we booked and they managed to move some things around and accommodate us in a private room. The views here are amazing, sitting in their kitchen and watching the sunset was a highlight of the trip. And having the ocean just in front of us and being able to walk to steps and go snorkeling was fun. I would definitely return.

Staff was very nice, we loved the Sunday family dinner (best Filipino food). Location and view on the sunset is the best. The dogs are too cute!

The staff were really lovely and this place is right on the beach, you just walk straight into it and into the water. They also hire out some snorkel gear I saw. They do yummy breakfasts also. It's only a short walk to other food and transport options. Fine for a short stay. Also had hot water and air con in each room.

Overall was good but some shade and seating on the top level area would be nice. The bathrooms weren't good because the water didn't drain so the bathroom was always wet.

The location is just perfect. Is literally in the front of the beach where you can see the sardine runs, one of the highlights of Moalboal. The staff is really nice

There was only one toilet and shower, but as the hostel is not really big it wasn’t a problem during my stay

Great location with an amazing sea front view. Staff are very lovely, a very comfortable welcoming atmosphere!

Could do with another bathroom/shower facility as only one for the whole hostel

The location couldn't be better - you're off the main street so it's nice and quiet, but also walking distance to it. We went for the sardines and you can literally walk right out of the hostel into the water and the sardines are right there.

Just small things - The bathroom got dirty really easily from the wet floors. Also no hand towels.

The hostel is a family run business and everyone is super nice, warm and helpful. The location is amazing - you can see the sunset from the common area and jump into the sea and snorkle with turrles and sardines right in front the hostel. Another highlight are the two sweet puppies :) would definitely recommend staying here!
