Lord Street Lofts

Bright and spacious, great location.

Modern clean property with comfortable beds. Good kitchen facilities.

We had to keep turning the heating down as found it hot. There was some noise from guests upstairs on the first night. There is a strong damp smell in the hallway but not in the apartment.

Apartment is lovely, no issues with it.

Right above a taxi rank and near a pub, lots of screaming and shouting which i understand is out of the owners control. Maybe worth adding secondary glazing on the bedrooms to make the apartment a 10

We liked the location, the apartment was very clean, we loved the decor and the little touches eg. the wine glasses. We did love our stay and will definitely return.

There was no lighting going into the building at night, this was not very good especially having to walk up Hulme Street which was also dark. The hallway and stairs was heated to 25 degrees, it got really uncomfortable having to walk up the stairs to 3rd floor. 10am checkout on a Sunday was a bit harsh as it puts a little bit of a downer on your Saturday night:-( Please note this is just how we felt but does not take away our enjoyment of staying here.

Lovely spacious and clean apartment. Great communication with owner . Nice and warm . Facilities were excellent .

Noisy at night outside but that was just a central location

Not a particularly safe entrance for someone traveling alone, especially at night. Entrance was not on lord street but Hume street. Even though the properties our advertised as lord street lofts. Hard to find if on foot, not near the train station. Hard to get an internet signal. No lift, or help with suitcases. No mirrors in bedrooms. Microwave smelled awful after use. First apartment offered was dark and uninviting, because of apartment door not closing properly was moved to lower floor apartment which was a much nicer flat. No air con for very hot days !

The property was very modern, and spacious great for a few friends to stay in or even family. The owner was very friendly and helped us out whenever we needed

A lot of stairs but it is a loft apartment, but they are the only complaint I had about my stay, everything was perfect if I’m honest

We had a truly fabulous stay and couldn’t have asked for more. A huge thank you to Tifferny for her exceptional support throughout our visit — the thoughtful Christmas touches, including treats and a tree, made our stay feel incredibly special and festive. The apartment itself was absolutely gorgeous and perfectly suited for our Christmas break with the children — stylish, comfortable, and immaculately presented. The location was ideal, with easy access to all of Southport’s top attractions, making everything simple and stress-free. We made wonderful family memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this place to others.
