Dar Meftah Tanger

The host Fatima was super kind and responsive, and I appreciated being able to check in very early after my morning flight for an additional €20 fee, which was well worth it for me. I also LOVED the neighborhood cats, which became one of the highlights of my stay. I fed them mornings and at night. The Wi-Fi was fine for my needs, and the apartment itself had loads of character and offered an authentic local Tangier experience.

That said, I think future guests should be aware of a few practical details that were not entirely clear to me before booking. It's a really beautiful two-bedroom apartment, but it is reached via approximately 58 stairs, which may be challenging for some travelers, particularly with luggage. There was also no air conditioning, which might be fine most months of the year, I'm not sure about summer though. Another consideration is the view. My apartment overlooked a vacant lot containing a considerable amount of trash, and I occasionally observed a few unhoused individuals sleeping there. I never felt unsafe, but it wasn't the pleasant neighborhood or rooftop view I had anticipated based on the listing.

I had a great stay at Dar Meftah in Tangier. The location is honestly perfect, right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to the Medina, restaurants, cafés, and all the main spots. Everything you need is just a few minutes away, which made the experience very convenient. The apartment itself is very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. You can tell that attention is given to keeping the place tidy and welcoming. It felt like a relaxing space after long days exploring Tangier. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting the city. Whether you’re here for a short stay or a few days, it’s a great choice thanks to its location, comfort, and quality. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was nice

The bed wasn't so comfy, really heavy

This is a beautiful apartment in the third floor. Clean, bright, two balconies, stocked kitchen and room for our whole family. Safe street parking

It was a little hard to find but the host quickly helped us. There is dije road noise, but not much for being right downtown.
