I had a wonderful stay at this cozy new hostel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable place to stay. I was a bit skeptical at first because the price was on the higher side for a hostel, but it was totally worth it. They’re still on soft opening, but everything was clean and organized and the staff were accommodating. I was actually the only guest during my visit, so it felt like I had the whole hostel to myself. The ambiance throughout the hostel and cafe is relaxed, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The beds are spacious and comfortable, and I appreciated the built-in reading light and power outlets, which made it easy to relax and recharge (literally and figuratively). When it comes to safety, the place is well-covered with CCTVs throughout. While the rooms currently use traditional door locks (they’re planning to upgrade to keycards), I felt secure during my stay. There’s also a security guard on-site. Lockers are available in the hostel room but remember to bring your own padlock. The location is okay - just a short walk to Araneta City, so it’s super convenient if you’re watching a concert or catching a provincial bus out of the metro. One standout for me was the amazing Tapsilog meal for breakfast. I was expecting something basic, but it turned out to be a real treat. It’s clear that the team behind this hostel is passionate about what they’re building. While they’re still refining a few things as part of the soft launch, I’m confident it’ll only get even better from here. I have made a few recommendations to the management based on my experience and I hope they'll consider. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to others. ✨

I booked one night at The Millas Hostel to attend a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. I was pleasantly surprised because the venue was just an 8-10 minute walk away, following a straight path with no turns. Although I didn’t spend much time at the hostel, I loved it; the ambiance was cozy and homey, just to my liking. I appreciated Madam Ligaya, the owner, who warmly welcomed and entertained me even though I arrived very early. Her son EJ, the manager, was also warm and kind. Their hospitality was top-notch, and my cousin and I even had a small chitchat with them. As a solo traveler both here and abroad, I can confidently say that Millas Hostel is among my top five favorite hostels worldwide. From their amenities to the complimentary breakfast, it’s really worth the stay. Millas Hostel will be my go-to place whenever I’m in Manila. If you’re a solo traveler or in a group attending a concert or simply exploring the city, this is the perfect haven. It’s accessible to public transport, convenience stores, restaurants, and more.

Beyond expectations. A great place away from home. The details of the building to the industrial interiors, elevated decors with new level of sophistication. Still they are on soft opening but still a superb service from the owner itself. Definitely worth the price! Thank you 🥰🙏
